The Phoenix metropolitan area is experiencing growth and expansion.  Shopping, recreation, and other amenities, have never been more accessible with new sections of freeways being completed.  The light rail system is fully functional as of December 257, 2008.  Time will tell whether commuters embrace this change or reject it, but certainly it is here to stay and does offer a viable alternative to idling in traffic.
